This book gives you the full soul of Richard and if you never knew him, after reading this book you will feel as if you had finally met him. Richard was very passionate about his broadcasting career and the book emphasizes it and how hard it was to be an African American in the society inwhich he was raised and worked in. He lived a full life and enjoyed sharing his stories with everyone and finally, it's packaged into what he was all about... "Soul"!The book is a quick read and I wish he had more involved details on the industry ups and downs; however, it does mention things that others never would in their writings and all of it is the total truth.
